What if the histories of Egyptology could be read through the streets of Paris? From the gardens of Jos\u00e9phine de Beauharnais to the one of the Museum national d\u2019Histoire naturelle, stories of collecting, of displacement, and of cultural practices\u2014at once wondrous, curious, and at times disconcerting\u2014begin to emerge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
