An online study day exploring the archaeology of the Coptic period in the Nile Valley with David Frankfurter, Claudia Näser, Paige Steen, Darlene Brooks Hedstrom, Chloe Aghar, Alex Bridges, Adrienn Almasy, Paola Buzi, Ralph Bodenstein, and Sebastian Richter.

Ever wondered about the Coptic period beyond the study of the Coptic language? Join us for this introductory study day which covers a broad spectrum of topics on Coptic archaeology. Over two consecutive Saturdays in December, experts in the field will share introductions to each topic as well as results of new excavations and research. The talks will be recorded and made available to participants following the event.
